Lenze SMV Drive Cuts Water Usage & Energy in Innovative Pumping System for Rural Communities

Lenze’s IP65-rated SMVector drive is at the heart of an innovative pumping system, providing the means for isolated rural communities in Australia to save both water and energy at the same time. Developed by Switchgear Direct in conjunction with FCR Lenze’s Australian distributor, the system overcomes problems of operating on a Single Wire Earth Return supply and closely matching the delivery of water from a pump to demand, rather than running the pump at full pressure irrespective of demand.
