Aims, Scope and Topics
The ICORS 2011 conference aims to join people working on robust statistics and related fields. It intends to bring together both leading experts and young researchers, thus creating a forum to cover recent progress and to stimulate exchanges among active researchers. The conference will also encourage informal contacts and discussions between participants.
Contributions to applied statistics are welcome as well as theoretical ones, introducing new problems related to or interacting with robust statistics. The following areas are mentioned, but contributed talks on other related topics are welcome as well:

* Asymptotic theory and efficiency
* Nonparametric methods
* Multivariate analysis

* Quantile regression models
* Linear and generalized linear models; mixed models
