EUROBIOTECH 2008

On behalf of the organizing committee we would like to invite you to join the CENTRAL EUROPEAN CONGRESS OF LIFE SCIENCES “EUROBIOTECH 2008”, which will be held on the 17th-19th October 2008 in Krakow, Poland.

It will focus on a wide spectrum of topics relating to Life Sciences. We will be co-organizing this scientific and business meeting with the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, the Agricultural Academy in Kraków, the Polish Federation of Biotechnology, Jagiellonian Innovation Centre and Cluster Life Science in Kraków. We would also like to join ranks with other main biotechnological centres in Central Europe. We invite participants from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia as well as from other countries of the world, with the aim of creating a real platform for international meetings.

We hope that the congress will present an opportunity for academic lectures and presentations but also for business exchange. The accompanying exhibition will gather companies from different sectors: biotech, pharmaceutical and medical, patent firms, consulting, venture and investment fund companies. We have chosen the so-called “red biotechnology” to be the leading area for 2008 congress, We will focus on biopharmacology, biosimilars, nutrigenomics, bio-products, biomaterials and “green medicine”.

We are confident that it will soon become one of the most celebrated biotechnology sector events in Central Europe. We hope that its success will be our joint effort!
